In today’s video, I take a tour of my friends Ann and Guy’s very nice Ford van that they have turned into their own amazing tiny house on wheels. Why do such young people want to chuck it all and live in a van? Even more puzzling, how can they afford it and isn’t it really hard for a couple to live in a van? In this interview, we’ll find answers to those questions and more by taking a Tour of their van!

First of all, I love your rig!!! I need to remember the restore is available to shop in for cabinetry.
Second – I love and use my INSTANT POT almost daily! Glad to know I can use it when I hit the road.
Super
I can do that
I like it ✌️
Awesome setup! Love all the valuable info!
“Live Free or Die” is their state motto, and they’re doing it!
I really enjoyed the tour and it gave me a lot of ideas…I think I’m going with the older style cargo van for my build.
Yup! I can do it! 😁
This is the best van I have seen yet !!
What was the name of the insulation he used?
So many great ideas, thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
Best couple so far, true inspiration. Im nervous as hell to get started but this couple helped to relieve some anxiety😍😍
The hottest pot of building a van is finding the right one. 😀
Wow i would have to pinch myself too.
Guy and Ann, glad you took the plunge and Wicked Awesome set up. I see more and more doing this and it inspires me. Lived off grid as well as a converted school bus with woodstove in Northern Maine wilderness (Not far from Hainesville woods). I think Van for me is best way to go.
Just love these guys
I can do that!! Smiles…
Very well built floor plan. Looks like they have all the basics and then some. Thanks for posting!
Nice Boston accent? Nice van, nice couple❤️🇨🇦

Hey I'm from good old NH!! Ihave to wait for my daughter to graduate college and settle down before I can go fulltime but the more ppl I see do it the itchier my feet become!! Awesome van build, I take notes from all these videos for my van.. Great people in all your videos Bob and this couple is no exception!!
Very nice set up and good tips!
Yes I Can do this and I Will!!
What was the insulation material he mentioned? (concrete and …?) waterproof, moldproof, good insluation.
I can do that
That is a cool setup they are good designers
YOU ~ ROCK ! !
I loved hearing you say that you buy ice and put it in containers inside your cooler. Block ice is NOT a necessity. Also, I love seeing your trashcan.
He's totally originally from Massachusetts. There's no way that's not a Boston accent.
What a great attitude!!!
Must be from Boston with that accent!
thanks a lot, got a lot of good ideas, best van living I've seen so far..
Love the van set up… Thanks Bob for sharing and the interview with Ann and Guy…
These are very one sided presentations of van living. For every person who enjoys this life style I'm sure there are many others who give it up after a short time due to the many complications that can pop up and the severely restricted living quarters. While it's interesting to watch these people enjoying their lives in the van, it would be very informative to hear about those who did not. People need to know that there can be many complications such as a flat tire, engine problems, sudden illness or injury, car crash, dead battery, etc. What do you do when you're out in the middle of nowhere by yourself and one of these things happen and no cell phone reception? People don't think about the realities of van living, only the pleasure aspect of traveling. A common denominator among the permanent van dwellers is that most are doing it out of necessity due to financial reasons. Even though they say how happy they are living in the van, I think it's because they adjust to the new life style and make the best of it, not because this was their life's aspiration to live in a van. I hope you will make videos of how people dealt with the unexpected problems that arose while living in a van, such as those mentioned, so that others can learn from them, not just the romanticized version of van life.
